I have not heard my favorite quote yet
My favorite selection of words spoken in perfect sequence

Maybe it's something you have yet to say
That will rattle in my brain unstoppable
And I will quote you and sound lived, and deep

Maybe it's something I will say
And I will quote myself, but not tell anyone so as to not sound insufferable

Maybe it will come in a song
Beautifully broken
And I'll feel it in my synapses before my brain knows
It will be my favorite words

Maybe I have heard it already
But I just don't remember
Because life got in the way
